Terms and licence

Version 1.0 · 30 October 2026 · England and Wales

Plain-language terms for commissioning AI campaign imagery from AI Model Studio. The order confirmation email, these terms and the character sheet together form the agreement.

1. What you are buying

Each package is a fixed scope. Anything not listed is out of scope and quoted separately.

2. Licence, not sale

You are licensing the finished images and clips, not buying the character, the model or the source files.

3. Ownership

AI Model Studio owns the character, the workflow and the source files. Package C transfers the character weights and the documented workflow to you on final payment, together with 12 months of category exclusivity. No other package transfers ownership.

4. Revisions

One revision round is included, defined as colour, crop and copy. Further rounds are charged at £120 a round. Changes to the brief after the character sheet is signed are a new scope.

5. Character sheet sign-off

Before production we send a written character description — age, build, colouring, hair, styling. Signing it off fixes the character. A rebuild after sign-off, for reasons other than our error, is charged at £300.

6. AI disclosure — your obligation as well as ours

Every asset is delivered labelled as AI-generated, with a caption line and embedded marking. You agree to:

Under EU AI Act Article 50 (applies from 2 August 2026) synthetic image, audio and video content must be disclosed in a clear, distinguishable way, and platform rules from Meta, TikTok and YouTube require an AI label as well. Removing the label is your breach of this agreement, not ours.

7. No real-person likeness

You warrant that you have not asked us to reproduce, and will not use any asset to imply, the likeness, identity or endorsement of a real person, living or dead. We will refuse any brief that asks for this.

8. What the images may be used to claim

An AI character cannot truthfully claim personal experience of a product. Brand copy built on our images is limited to what the image can support: styling, fit, look, fabric, colour. Claims about results — medical, cosmetic, performance — are outside what these assets can support.

9. Payment

10. Cancellation and kill fee

Cancel before the character sheet is signed: the deposit is refunded in full. Cancel after it is signed: 50% of the package price is retained, because production has started.

11. Our limits

We sell assets, not commercial results. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the fee you paid for the package concerned. We are not liable for lost sales, lost profit or platform decisions. If a garment cannot be reproduced faithfully from the photographs supplied, we will tell you before production rather than deliver something close.

12. Your garment photographs

Garment photographs and brand material you send are used only for your job, are never reused for another client, and are deleted on request or 90 days after delivery, whichever is sooner.

13. What we will not take on

We do not produce imagery for adult content, for anything that implies a real person’s likeness or endorsement, or for claims an AI model cannot honestly make. We will decline those briefs and say why.

14. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer where consumer law applies.

The two sentences that matter. The person in these images does not exist, and every asset is labelled AI-generated when it goes out. You are licensing the images for the channels we agreed — not buying the face.
